- Fell in love with the girl from ancient philosophy class and followed her to Columbus, Ohio where she pursued a law degree.
- Modeled the hydrodynamics of flood waters in graduate school at The Ohio State University with some really smart and inspiring people.
- Became instantly hooked on programming with Python after one of those really smart and inspiring people showed me the light.
- Got a second job while in graduate school at the U.S. Geological Survey as if I did not have enough work to do already. :)
- Married the girl of my dreams from that ancient philosophy class.
- Moved to Louisville, Kentucky upon the strong requests from the parents-in-law.
